Julie Freshman joined the MG Commercial Real Estate team in 2018 and is primarily focused on industrial property sales and leasing. Julie previously worked in the environmental consulting/engineering industry since 2003 in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts, prior to transitioning to commercial real estate. Her business-friendly approach to client advocacy and focus on timely communications has helped move numerous property transactions and development projects along to completion.

Julie’s experience includes both buyer and tenant, and seller and landlord representation.  Notable recent assignments as a seller representative include the sale of a 50,000 SF industrial building in East Providence, RI for $4,800,000; the sale of a LEED Gold Certified 32,000 SF industrial / manufacturing  facility on just under 4 acres in the Quonset Business Park in North Kingstown, RI for $3,400,000; the sale of 39 acres of industrial land in East Providence, RI for $1,800,000; the sale of a 96,000 SF industrial building on just over 20 acres in Coventry, RI for $4,000,000; and the sale of a 55,000 SF fully-leased, single tenant industrial building in Cranston, RI for $4,500,000 as a buyer representative.

Julie holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Geography from the University of Delaware and a graduate degree in Energy and Environmental Analysis with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems from Boston University. 

In May 2017, Julie was the recipient of the Providence Business News "Women to Watch" Award. She is an active member of organizations including the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors (SIOR) New England Chapter, Rhode Island Manufacturers Association (RIMA), and the RI Chapter of the American Heart Association through it’s “Hard Hats with Heart” initiative focused on engaging with those in the construction and industrial industries and inspiring them to live healthier, longer lives.  Julie is a past board member on the board of directors for both the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of REALTORS® and the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS®.

Julie resides with her husband and two daughters in Barrington, RI.
