Julie Freshman joined the MG Commercial Real Estate team in 2018 and is primarily focused on industrial property sales and leasing. Julie previously worked in the environmental consulting/engineering industry since 2003 in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts, prior to transitioning to commercial real estate. Her business-friendly approach to client advocacy and focus on timely communications has helped move numerous property transactions and development projects along to completion.
Julie’s experience includes both buyer and tenant, and seller and landlord representation. Notable recent assignments as a seller representative include the sale of a 334,219 SF fully-leased, multi-tenant industrial/flex campus in East Providence, RI for $8,300,000; the sale of a 25,280 SF industrial building in East Providence, RI for $2,155,000; the sale of a 43,667 SF industrial building in Pawtucket, RI for $705,000; and the sale of a 19,600 SF industrial building in Warwick, RI for $1,466,303 as a buyer representative.
Julie holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Geography from the University of Delaware and a graduate degree in Energy and Environmental Analysis with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems from Boston University.
In May 2017, Julie was the recipient of the Providence Business News "Women to Watch" Award. She is an active member of organizations including the Rhode Island Manufacturers Association (RIMA), Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Boston, and the RI Chapter of the American Heart Association through it’s “Hard Hats with Heart” initiative focused on engaging industrial workers and inspiring them to live healthier, longer lives. Julie is a board member on the board of directors for both the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of REALTORS® and the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS®.
Julie resides with her husband and two daughters in Barrington, RI.
